Natural Winter Decorations, Tuesday December 1
Join Anne Lenox Barlow to learn how to brighten up your home with natural materaisl such as evergreens, boxwood, grapevine, and more! This hands-on workshop will walk participants through simple, yet elegant decorations made with natural materials one can find in their own backyard. Cost is $20/person or $30/pair to cover cost of materials. All participants will go home with an evergreen door swag made during the class. The class will be at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office in Plattsburgh on Tuesday, December 1 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. While this workshop is geared towards adults, mature children are welcomed to accompany an adult.

Winter Greens Open House, Sunday December 6
With a little bit of extra protection, there are many types of greens that can be grown year-round here in Clinton County by our area farmers. Whether you are a vegetable farmer yourself or a community member interested in learning about eating local throughout the winter, this openhouse will have information for you!

The open house will be held at Rehoboth Homestead Farm in Peru, NY on Sunday, December 6 from 1pm-3pm. Interested individuals will have the opportunity to talk with the farmer, Beth Spaugh, and Anne Lenox Barlow, horticulture educator, about and see first hand how greens are produced during our winter months.
